April 25

This week during the lab time I was able to make the finishing touches on assignment four. I found the discussion this week rather engaging. The more we touch on views like Owston's and thinking about sustaining classroom innovation. It looks like we need to continue to revisit how we will support the innovative learning that is occurring. It reminds me of a Ted talk I recently viewed.

April 18

This week the focus of the lab time was to complete any loose ends with assignment #4 and to begin looking at assignment #3. Today was an interesting discussion in class about how to best integrate technology into the classroom. This will be an ongoing discussion in schools across the country.

April 11 Computer Lab Time Reflection

This week I found our discussion on distance learning rather interesting. When considering this option there seems to be several factors that need to be taken into account. Does the course offering, through distance learning, allow for opportunities that would not normally be available to the students? What type of interaction, blog, email, chat, would be available for the instructor to provide meaningful feedback to students? Would there be an option for a blended learning approach to the allow for both face to face interaction and the online experience for students?

One thing that seems to be more true is that our learners are coming to us expecting a digital component to their learning experience and we should be engaging our students in any way possible.
